Information about the right of withdrawal

1. General rule

Consumers generally have 14 calendar days to withdraw from distance contracts without giving any reason, under articles 102 et seq. of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (TRLGDCU). For service contracts, the period runs from the conclusion of the contract.

2. Exception applicable to bookings for a specific date

Article 103(l) TRLGDCU excludes from the right of withdrawal contracts for accommodation services other than for residential purposes and services related to leisure activities, where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.

Bookings of desks, private offices, meeting rooms and event spaces made on tucoworking are always contracted for a specific date and time slot, so they fall within that exception and do not give rise to a right of withdrawal.

This does not leave customers unprotected: such bookings may be cancelled under the Cancellation and refund policy, which in many spaces provides a free cancellation window with a full refund.

3. Services without a specific date

Where a service is contracted that does not provide for a specific date or period of performance, the consumer does have 14 calendar days to withdraw. If the consumer expressly requested that performance begin during the withdrawal period, they must pay the proportionate amount for the service already provided up to the moment they communicate their decision.

4. Monthly contracting

Monthly contracting requests are not paid online and are formalised through the operator's contract. Withdrawal, where applicable, is governed by that contract and by applicable law, and the request may be withdrawn at no cost while the operator has not accepted it.

5. How to withdraw

Where the right applies, it is enough to communicate the decision unambiguously to info@tucoworking.com before the period expires, quoting the booking code. The following form may be used, although it is not mandatory.

7. Effects

Where withdrawal is validly exercised, the amounts received will be refunded without undue delay and in any event within 14 calendar days of the communication, using the same payment method used for the purchase and at no cost to the consumer.

This is a translation of the Spanish version, which prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
